The AlumaBase® delivers the final touch every patio cover contractor has been waiting for. This elegantly designed post base is easy to install, improves structural strength, & of course covers those exposed bolts & screws you have been looking at for years.

AlumaBase® has a width of 10” x 9.5” and a height of 3.875”

  • .175 Nominal Wall Thickness
  • Made with a high-impact ABS plastic with UV and antioxidant inhibitors.

Design

AlumaBase® is currently available in 8 standard colors. Two equal parts creates one post base. The post base is attached through 3/16” pilot hole with four provided screws and finished with a cap.

Follow along as we go into detail on how a homeowner would install the AlumaBase on their patio cover h-posts with basic tools they have in their garage.

In this video, we show how to install the AlumaBase using our H-Post Jig on a new patio cover build. Using the H-Post Jig makes it easy, with no measuring needed to get a perfect fit.

Amazing product! Gives it a clean finished look and protects the cement anchors fron anybreakdown if my dog decides to loft his leg on the post.

Looks Finished

We have a brick patio and the DuraBase pieces hide the bolts and make the posts look nicely finished. We even followed the video and installed one on our post with a downspout. We also ordered the table that attaches to the post.
